Music meant for revision

Music meant for revision

Revision can be stressful, so it’s no surprise that many students turn to music to help them before the exams.

Effective revision needs a clear mind. Music can be great at calming and emptying your mind of distractions. So, what is the best type of music to listen to while you grapple with formulas and mind maps? Classical music seems to be the genre that comes out on top. This is probably due to the well-known ‘Mozart Effect’, the theory that if babies and children listen to music composed by Mozart they will become more intelligent. Classical music has also been known to improve spatial reasoning and concentration. So it may not be your favourite kind of music, give the following Spotify playlists a try and see how you get on.
