How to get into sport this summer holiday

How to get sport this summer

With the Rio Olympic games in full swing, are your kids feeling up for a bit of anything sport related. So they are inspired and subsequently a little antsy?! Here are some sports activities that are guaranteed to get them moving and burning off some of that excess energy.

Big Fish Little Fish Family Rave

Fancy an afternoon dance party that you can share your kids? The disco comes with glitter balls, confetti, bubbles and more. There’s also a baby chillout area with mats and a ball pool for those too little to dance (or who have tired feet), plus a crafts area and a parachute finale. Ages 0-8.

Stag Lodge Stables

There are plenty of horses and ponies to choose from at this stables in Richmond Park. For younger ones (ages 3 to 6) there are 30-minute leading rein rides through the park and lots of activities for all abilities from there on.

Go Ape Battersea

In the newest Go Ape site in Battersea Park there are treetop walkways, zip wires, rope-bridges and ladders twice the height of the other Go Ape sites to explore. So swing around the course to your heart’s content this summer holiday. For ages 6 upwards.

Under 23s Kayak and Sailing

Experience and explore the River Thames like never before with the ever popular sports of Kayaking or Sailing for under 23s. Bring a change of clothes and towel and away you go with an experienced instructor.

Whatever your plans this summer holiday, we hope you are enjoying the break (and the of the summer sport!).
