A-Level History of Art
A-Level History of Art enables students to achieve an appreciation of some significant themes from classical Greece to the end of the twentieth century. Furthermore students will need to demonstrate investigation skills and interpretation within the context of History of Art.
An A-Level History of Art tutor through Osborne Cawkwell will help students communicate their knowledge and understanding of art historical movements. This also includes practitioners and works and considering the way that these change and evolve within chronological and other frameworks. A tutor can also build a student’s confidence and understanding of the relationship between society and art, art historical terms, concepts and issues. At A-Level, History of Art can be taken through the following examination board: AQA.
