A Level Biology
Studying Biology at A Level gives students an understanding of many contemporary issues requiring a grasp of fundamental biological ideas; the topics covered include molecular and cellular biology, ecological principles, animal and plant physiology as well as the biochemical topics of photosynthesis and respiration. Biology opens the door to careers in academic research, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and environmental monitoring. It is also commonly a prerequisite for potential medicine, veterinary and nursing qualifications.
A tutor through Osborne Cawkwell can help build a student’s confidence in biology. A tutor can explain concepts, build and extend subject knowledge as well as help construct study and revision plans. Working through past exam papers ensures students are fully prepared for their final exams. At A Level, Biology can be taken through the following examination boards: Edexcel, AQA, OCR, CIE and WJEC.
