IB Global Politics
The IB Diploma Programme in global politics forms part of Group 3 – Individuals and societies and is available at higher and standard level. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is an assessed programme for students aged 16 to 19. Furthermore the course is respected by leading universities across the globe.
IB Global Politics explores fundamental political concepts such as power, liberty and equality, in a range of contexts and at a variety of levels. It also allows students to develop an understanding of the local, national, international and global dimensions of political activity. In addition the course encourages students to explore the political issues affecting their own lives.
Furthermore an IB Global Politics tutor through Osborne Cawkwell will encourage students to develop a critical awareness of the nature of politics. Tutors will also help students understand and engage in current political debates. Finally a tutor can also help with essay technique and writing skills to ensure a student can construct an insightful and concise argument.
